Zambia is one of the most resourceful countries in the world. It has minerals, fertile land, diverse animal and plant life, and tourist attractions, to mention a few. This is evident from the many foreigners that come to invest in it. Nonetheless, for a long time, it has been categorized as a poor country. It frequently relies on foreign aid to do any major projects. Also, the country entertains one of the highest youth unemployment rates. For many years, Zambia has worked hard to remedy the situation by educating it’s people. It has invested a lot of money in building schools and universities to this cause. Unfortunately, little has been achieved through these actions. Why? This book, in form of a short story, explains the main reason. It also shows the path that a youth yearning for means to earn a living can take instead of waiting on the government to offer them employment.
